Surgery Day Eve

Well, kiddos, here it is, nearly the day of my surgery. I am kinda loopy due to lack of food … I’ve been “eating” chicken broth, popsicles, protein water, crystal light and jello for the past 30+ hours. I’m surprised I didn’t murder anyone when my mom and I went to Wal-Mart today. NOT the place to be when you can’t eat.

I have to be at the hospital at 10:30 a.m., with my surgery to follow (hopefully) 2 hours later. It should last between 2 and 4 hours, then I’ll be in recovery for an hour or two.

I’m beyond ready to start this next phase of my life and I want to thank all of you for your good wishes. It means a lot to me and the more prayers, the better, right?!

  2. I know it’s not going to be easy for you after the surgery, but I think you’ll be very pleased with the results. I’ll be thinking of you and saying lots of prayers.
