Crankalicious
What a long-ass day. After I determined that my car had indeed been towed, I called a cab to pick me up and take me to where I needed to go to get the Moniquemobile back. It took 30 minutes for the cab to arrive … but I walked away with the cabbie’s phone number. LOL He was cute, although young and well, I don’t need to start collecting men in the transportation industry. He told me to call if I needed “… anything.”
No one was at the tow yard and I had to stand outside in the rain for more than 20 minutes until someone arrived to let me in. I went to my car — after the tow guy found it for me, it was way the fuck out — to get my registration and to my horror, I realized that it was expired. My last name used to start with a C. Despite having legally changed my name 3 years ago, it took until this year for the state to get me in the K cycle for license plates (they’re renewed by last name, not DOB). So, my registration expired in March while my current plates don’t expire until the end of this month. Yeah, great plan. Fortunately, the tow company people either didn’t notice or didn’t care, and after shelling out $127, I got my release papers and was on my way.
When I got to work, I sent an e-mail to the leasing office. Last I knew, my leasing agent was going to talk to the managers. Mmhmmm. I want my fucking money back. I have a parking tag, it was in my car. Whatev. Biggest fucking ordeal EVER.
Now I’m watching the Wings. I am so going to cry when they win. Because I’m a girl and girl sports fans can do that shit. Hell, grown men cry when their teams win a championship so I can sob. I miss my daddy. I want to be in Michigan watching the game with him and my brother.
Tomorrow morning I go back for another nutrition class as well as my psych eval. Yay. That’s another $195 out of the bank account. Speaking of psych evals, I was thinking today about going back to therapy. I’m just not sure where. Last time, my pastor called a friend who recommended one of his students … but after things took a trip down Crazy Town Lane, I really don’t want to go back to that same place. I’ll figure it out …
