What a Delightful Evening. Not.
Monique @ 6:32 pm I woke up this morning about 1 a.m., feeling a bit nauseated. I sat up in bed, trying to figure out what was wrong and then … yep, I made a mad dash to the bathroom. Blech. It happened again about an hour later. This morning, I had tiny red pinpricklike spots all around both eyes and red blotches on my face … as if vomiting itself weren’t unpleasant enough, I have broken blood vessels too. Whoopee!!! Mr. Man was a trooper, though, and kept me company while I hovered above the toilet LOL. He seemed fascinated. Nothing like puking with a feline audience.
I was still a bit iffy today but handled it ok at work … we had a forced group lunch for administrative professionals day. Our admin chose Ruby Tuesdays, where I spent $12.40 + tip on a chicken quesadilla (appetizer portion) and a cup of coffee. What the fuck was that about? But that was all that appealed to me on the menu.
Hopefully tonight will be much better!

Oh I hate that!!! And I hate when you puke so hard you get pitikia (the broken blood vessels), that sucks.

well now we have a name for the little red splotches and what not on your face. I’ll never remember the technical term for it tho.
I hope tonight is much better for you! Yeah I love it when my girls decide to keep me company in the bathroom. LOL

Smiley — I can’t explain why that combination sounded good, except my throat also hurt when I swallowed and the warmth of the coffee helped with that. Ruby Tuesdays has a pretty limited menu, if you don’t want a burger, so the quesadilla was the best I could come up with lol.

I know when I am sick I load up on the comfort food. French fries and grilled cheese and really greasy stuff. I haven’t had a stomach thing in a while though. This is just when I have colds and stuff.
