Monique @ 2:36 pm To set the scene, it was 9 a.m., I was in my cubicle, at my computer. Probably wondering if I should go downstairs for coffee or not. I heard my phone buzz and saw that I had a text message. From MM. “Yay, the gas is back on!”
Well, yippee kay yay, motherfucker, so glad to hear that.
A minute or so later, another text, again from MM. “I am sorry about this weekend and how I acted.”
Howdy doody, he’s sorry for being a douchebag. Wait, no, I can’t make that leap. I don’t know WHAT he is sorry for, as he wasn’t too clear about that.
See, I demand a lot (shocker, I know). While I don’t expect a gentleman friend to have the same emotional capacity that I have (which was developed after years of introspection and therapy and general misery), I do expect a man to be able to express, in basic terms, his feelings. Otherwise, why not just show up at my door with a bouquet of flowers that will no doubt make me sneeze? Ok, I guess I do expect a lot. But damn it, I want to know WHY he was a douchebag, even if he may not know why himself!
In other news, I e-mailed the motherfucker’s best friend’s wife to ask about her bariatric surgery. I really liked his friends. Too bad the motherfucker was such a, well, motherfucker.

Ha, i’m sure he doesn’t really know what he’s done wrong, he just knows he done something wrong, so now he’s apologizing. if you go with the mentality that men are stupid you won’t be too far off. sometimes you have to explain it.

Yoshi — Ha ha, that’s what I was thinking, like if he apologizes I’ll forget about it and move on lol. It’s almost comical now.
Tori — I know! It’s so frustrating! Sometimes I think my cats are more expressive than men lol.

I am as lost as you as to what his deal is. The fact he just keeps acting like for the most part everything is ok. Strange.
I am just getting the process started for WLS. I havent told anyone yet though, just my husband. Not sure if I will tell anyone.

Doesn’t sound to me as if you’re demanding; there’s nothing wrong with expecting a man to act civilly or at least explain why he isn’t.

I don’t think you’re demanding a lot. In my opinion, it took him way too long to even address that the weekend went poorly!
