Dating Disaster????

I heard back from MM.

We do indeed work for the same company, although he doesn’t know that yet.

OMFG. I don’t know what to do about this.

Honestly, I can’t believe it’s taken 3 years of dating to run into this situations lol.

He wants to have dinner tomorrow. I am not sure I am mentally prepared for this!!!!

UGGGGGH!

  1. How did you figure out you work for the same company? If you figured it out, won’t he??

    Just explain that you don’t feel comfortable dating someone from work. Duh

  2. VV — it’s a big company; there are about 2,500 people in my building. It’s not like we’d be bumping into each other. I need to calm down and let him know that I work there too. Ugh.

  3. Yeah, as long as you’re not in the same department or your job has a “fraternizing” clause, you should be ok. just make sure you really bump into him because it would be awkward if things didn’t work out.

    and you should let him know that you work there too. he might have a “i don’t date in work.” thing.
