Time to Start Fresh?
Monique @ 3:02 pm Despite taking two Tylenol PMs last night, I still slept fitfully last night. I had a lot on my mind. I thought before I went to bed, I thought when I woke up during the night and I was still thinking when I woke up this morning. I was torn between being a nice person and doing what is right for myself. In the end, I did what was best for me and that meant telling someone “no.”
Am I happy about my decision? No, I’m actually quite disappointed, because it basically means the end of a friendship. I’ve questioned my judgment, this person’s judgment, every last word that was said but I can’t make heads or tails of it. I really can’t.
One thing that concerns me about this blog is the impression that you might have of me from reading my postings. And it’s because of the discrepancy between the Monique you read about here and the person typing these words that I sometimes think of leaving When We Were Liars behind and starting over. Just walking away and being me, you know? Maybe even living my life without documenting every last bit of it …

I had to do that. Start fresh. And I even tried quitting, but that didn’t really work out.
My old blog had a lot of my emotions about dealing with my sister’s death. I just decided to start fresh with a new one, and I don’t really update it as much as I use to.
And sometimes you need to do what is best for you. Saying “no” can be difficult, but if your friend couldn’t take no for an answer, maybe they weren’t that great of a friend.

You know I only want what is best for you. Though if you don’t blog I’ll miss you. Why not just try a new blog, and only let a few *coughmecough* people know where you are.

I have felt the same way about my blog. it’s up to you. on doing what you feel is right. there’s no one thst can make that choice but you. But I hope you still swing by my blog..

If I move, my list of people to notify would be so long it would probably be more trouble than it’s worth!!!! Which is totally a good problem to have.

I’m sorry that you didn’t sleep well last night. I think you made the right decision, because if you don’t look out for what is best for you, who will?

Awwww Pumpkin….it isn’t easy, I miss mine everyday but I understand and can only say just make absolutely sure it’s what YOU want…don’t do it for any other reason.

I did it… and although I partially regret it… I created the blog that you know… and that I’m happy about.
When I switched… I changed my name, but the persona is all me… if that makes sense..
