of tequila = whee!
My brother says I’m drunk. I beg to differ. Well, maybe. But whatever. The beers were spread over about 3 hours and the two tequila shots were with this girl my brother likes. It was good tequila too.
My ex-husband called me at like 9:15 tonight. WTF??? He didn’t leave a message. I didn’t answer.
The UFC matches were good except the main event. As usual, it was an upset. WTF ever. I had three beers there, only because the waitress brought me two on the second round instead of one. She only charged me for two total. Wheeeeeee.
And now it’s 3 a.m. and I’m wide awake. But I remembered to take an Aleve. Actually two.
Edited to add: For some reason, I feel like I should disclose that after tequila shot #1, I thought I was going to be sick. I felt so old. It all turned out ok and no ill effects after shot #2. My brother seemed surprised at my fondness for tequila. My brother’s friend got yelled at for not scooching in his chair the correct way. The “doorman” at this bar was like 110 years old. And at both bars, my out-of-state ID was scrutinized. At both bars I wanted to say, “I’m 32!!!!!!!!!” The girl my brother likes kept getting text messages from her father asking her to stay somewhere else because he brought some woman home. That sucked. But we don’t have anyplace for her to stay. I really hope I’m not sick later. Blech.
And what’s with bars closing at 2 a.m. here??? The club I go to at home is open until like 4 a.m. I would have kept drinking too. Wheee!

Personally, I would have thought the main event would have gone into at LEAST the second round. Although Lidell did predict a first round knock-out, I don’t think he thought it was going to be himself on the mat.

Yeah, they called that one too soon. Lidell was getting up to go after Rampage. I wanted to smack the kid with the spray-painted orange and black hair.

in CA our bars close at 2am, it’s probably a good thing in my case!

Tori — When I was in CA in February, I left the bar at 1 a.m. … but that was 4 a.m. my time so I still felt like I was being rebellious. Maybe it was just the 10 raspberry lemontinis!
