Ugh. My thighs still hurt like a mofo. I wish it was from something more exciting than exercise, but alas, no. After hobbling up and down the stairs three times dealing with groceries and the trash, I decided that was enough of a workout for me today. In addition, I have a ginormous bruise on my calf, the results of my first, ill-fated “shoveling” attempt Wednesday afternoon. Gah.

Everything is a bit sore after I exercise but I have become used to the pain that I feel wrong without it. Crazy is it not?

Ricardo — Argh, I’m having flashbacks to the “no pain, no gain” Jane Fonda VHS tapes my mom used to exercise to in the 80s. But I know what you mean. You have to push yourself past a certain point to get the endorphins going.
