My first “first date” since February was … eh, not so much. Really nice guy. Didn’t look a damn thing like his picture. No sparks. I was shocked when I got back to my car and it was only 8:30 — I thought it had to be at least 9:30 or 10. Nope. Just 90 minutes of chit-chat. Sigh. He wasn’t unattractive, just … eh. I’m kinda bummed, because he mentioned he’s a fan of the Daily Show and a democrat. He paid for dinner, that was nice. He mentioned his ex-girlfriend about 10 times. I mentioned my ex-husband once. Actually, he kind of reminded me of my ex-husband.
Speaking of, I’ve decided that turnabout is fair play and next week — the Vegas week — I’m going to send him nonsensical text messages. Leave me your suggestions in the comments, or else I’ll have to stick with lyrics from Night Moves, aka “the greatest song eveq!” (sic)
Sorry to disappoint y’all with a non-tawdry date report. You’ll just have to find me a better man next time!!!

Damn. I had hopes he would have been inspiring at least.
I guess we’ll just have to see what’s in Vegas… oh and that whole “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…” is a lie.

Soda — Hopefully I’ll be able to stay awake in Vegas with the 3 hour time difference from home!
Watchdog — I know, I know. Inspiration will strike at some point … LOL
Mr. Fab — Oops, worded that wrong. I love me some democrats!!!!

But I kept my fingers and toes crossed on that one…I really am a jinx aren’t I? From now on don’t tell me a thing till after the date and then maybe you will find prince charming…lol.
As for the ex…
