Even Bill Frist, understands that medically, this could help end terrible diseases. I think Bush has helped the Democrats for the upcoming elections this fall. One mainly i can think of is Gov Jennifer Granholm who is in a tight race against Dick Devos for her re-election as Governor. Dick is on board with Bush and that isnt going to fly very well in Michigan. On the other hand, Granholm has called for ending this ban, and she is promoting life sciences industries as part of her economic plan. Republican or Democrat, stem cell research should be supported.
