A Dream Unfulfilled

Filed under: Animals, WorkMonique @ 9:47 pm

Alas, no corn hole toss for me today.

Sadly, we missed the bus to the part of the park with the games and by the time we thought again about going over there, it was too late. Sigh. But to make up for it, I have not one — not one! — but two photos of lemurs … and a group photo in front of a polar bear sunning himself. My friend Denise and I joked that we probably could make a lot of money off of this photo, considering we’re both busty gals and our bosoms were touching. Hey, I ain’t too proud to make a buck. (That’s me on the right, btw, new sassy haircut and all. I only had been sweating for about three hours when this photo was taken, hence my dewy glow.)

  1. looking damn good, lady! i love the new hair, btw. fun and flippy if i see correctly.

what is this general wave of obsession with lemurs? (brits seem to have this thing with badgers, too) in college some students put a joke notice in the daily classifieds to mail some poor student if they wanted to volutneer to brush the teeth of the lemurs at the local zoo. i mean, i like them, but i just don’t get it.

the thing about the giraffs i totally get. i have a friend whom i feel quite platonic about, but then i saw his tongue…my god. tmi, but it was time to confess that to somebody. 2 hail marys blah blah.

  2. Oh man…first the whole tongue to the nose exercise, and now hot lemur pictures…I think I’m over stimulated…

  3. Kat, I felt compelled to post the lemur photos for Mr. Fab, as he indicated he would rent my (nonexistant) film — twice — and I didn’t want to disappoint a (nonexistant) customer. But I guess I just made him feel inadequate, with his short tongue and all. ; )

  4. Mr. Fabulous, same set of questions. what is up with the lemur fascination? i mean, i love camels - just don’t get the lemur (or badger) common fascination.
