I thought I’d be clever and start a new pack of bc pills on Sunday even though I finished the last pack on Saturday. Why have a period this month? I didn’t feel like dealing with it (when do I ever??? lol).
I’ll never fucking do that again.
I have been so damn emotional this week. Like, driving to work this morning, I got all teary fucking listening to “Send Her My Love” by Journey. WTF? I got teary watching “American Idol” tonight (I’ll vote for Taylor, if I can get through) and I got teary watching an episode of “Frontline” on PBS about sex trafficking in Eastern Europe. And I’m scowling! Oh my God. I was out tonight and I realized that — despite the sunshine, despite the 70 degree temperature — I was fucking scowling. What the hell????
And I didn’t even have a good reason to fuck with my cycle. It’s not like I’m planning to mark Memorial Day with an orgy. I’m not even anticipating any action. About all I’ll be lucky to score will be some food at a cookout or two. Sigh.

hey i get teary when i am on my period, i can’t beleive some of the stuff that either irrates me or makes me cry, and then feel like an idiot a few days later, we have all done it whether we are doubling up on bc or not, oh the stories I could tell..
congrats on being the single of the week, maybe one day I will…(although I do have an amazingly wonderful bf :))

You might want to look into Implanon. It lasts for 3 years, in 1/3 of cases periods stop for that time, in 1/3 of cases they stay the same and the other 1/3 have irregular bleeding that can usually be regulated after a few months.

Because of the family history and now the whole ugly boob thing, I’ve never been able to go on the pill, my periods are here to stay for at least another 20 years…talk about rotten luck!
And as for ringing in Memorial Day a little early…you know what they say about best laid plans.
I shaved past the knee and all I got was an Avatar…go figure…lol.

yep, used the pill to chase away aunt flo a time or too. can’t say i’ve ever noticed any weird hormonal reactions, maybe cause it just blended in with my everyday weirdness???! ummmm, maybe.

Ido that all the time, but haven’t had those side-effects. That sucks! But maybe I don’t notice because I’m a natural crier anyway. A good baby commercial will makemy eyes wet…

omfg, i did that ONCE to miss my period for a trip or something. holy fuck, i will NEVER EVER EVER do that again! it was the worst emotional bullshit i’ve ever had to deal with… boyfriend wanted to kill me. lol
